Winter Holiday Blog Hop December 11th

Merry Christmas to you!! I'm glad you have joined us in the Winter Holiday Blog Hop today. If you have come from Alina then you are on the right track. If not then please go back to Denise and start at the beginning. I hope you all enjoy the stops ahead.
My project is a 4 x 6 scrapbook. This is the perfect size to sit on the coffee table. This is the front of the book. I used chipboard letters for the title. I took two pieces of 12 x 12 cardstock and cut them in 6 x 12 sizes and folded them in half. I used my Cinch to punch holes in them and tied them together with ribbon to make the book. I embellished the pages with matting and ribbons. Its all ready to put photos in.

This is two of the inside pages.

Another two pages. I want bore you with all the pages inside.

close up of one page. I used a punch set for the red paper, and embossed the green paper. Then I ran my red ink pad across it to bring out the embossed look better.  I LOVE red and lime green together. I hope you all have a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
Now on to your next stop Jessica

Day TWO

Hi ladies, I hope you are ready for day two. I hope you came from  Lisa  , if not please go back to see her fabulous project first.
My project for day two is an altered Journal that I made. I love having that special notebook to record my year that is passing, so I made this one with Christmas in mind. I love whimsy things and I just feel in love with this SVG file of a cute stocking. I used a regular black and white composition book, scrap paper, Martha Stewart punch, stamped image in silver ink, some rhinestones for some bling and fixed it up for a fun look to write my thoughts in. And everything is fun with some added tulle.

Your next stop is April

"All I Want for Christmas" Blog Hop Dec. 9-10

Day ONE

Hi ladies, I hope you are ready for some Great hopping today. If you came from Lisa then you are in the right place.
Well I don't know about you, but I love the Christmas season. The music, lights, and gift giving. Makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. My daughter is a teenager now so the "santa" thing has passed in our household, but  my sister has a 2 1/2 year old, that is beginning to get in that "magic" of Christmas age. This year is going to be so much fun when we get together. I can't wait!
Well, on to the hop. Our theme was "All I Want For Christmas". I knew exactly what I wanted to do for this hop. I am not a military wife , but at this time of year I so pray for our guys and gals that are overseas. They are away from their family and kids, and I know it is hard for them. So All I want for Christmas  is PEACE on this earth so that everyone can come home and be with their family.
For my project I made a Christmas ornament for my tree. I used my MTC program and the Curlz font and cut out the word Peace on my cricut expression. I used teal blue glitter inside to give it some sparkle and to go with my color scheme on my tree.
Where ever you are and however you celebrate, I hope you have a good one.

Close up of ornament

I had to add some zebra to it!!!

Now on to your next Fabulous ladies blog April.

Merry Christmas and May God Bless you and your family!!!

Give Thanks Blog Hop November 19th and 20th

Hi ladies, hope you guys are getting ready for your Thanksgiving Feast!! I know I can't wait to have all my family over next weekend. All the chatter and great smells going on in the house. What great memories to treasure. This hop is being hosted by Denise. Thanks Denise for taking over so we could continue this hop. If you are coming from Sigrid blog then you are in the right spot.  So lets get started. I wanted to make a spcrapbook page for the pictures that I will be taking next weekend. I figured I would make this for the hop and already be a step ahead of myself. I am so thankful for my family. I have been blessed with the best people to surround my life with. I used my MTC software for the tree and the word "MEMORIES" which I welded together for one piece. That makes it easier to put on your page instead of having to line up each letter correctly. The 3 D pumpkin and fence is a SVG file I purchased. I'm sorry I can't remember which maker I got it from. I loved how the fence turned out. Finally , I used flocking at the bottom to represent fall foliage. I hope you enjoy the hop this weekend. Now on to your next person Martha. Your almost finished. Have a great weekend.

Halloween / Trick or Treat Blog Hop Oct. 15th and 16th

Hi ladies, thanks for stopping by and hopping with us today for the Halloween / Trick or Treat Blog Hop. If you want to start at the beginning then please go to our Fabulous hostess Kathryn's Blog. If you have come from Michelle's blog then you are in the right place. So let's get started..... As you know our theme is Halloween. So I decided to make an Explosion box for one of my projects. I used a Halloween stack that I found at Tuesday Mornings. The little bat is a freebie SVG file I got from Treasure Box Designs. I love using SVG files to make things that you can't find on your cricut cartridges. I love making these Boxes. They are perfect to give as gifts to people, and definitely are coffee table worthy, and don't take up to much space either.

I have been frantically working on making items for a craft fair I'm in this weekend. But I wanted to make another project to share with you before you go on to the next hop. It's a Halloween Wreath to put on your door. I had seen ladies on Facebook making them and had to get my hands on making one. I made the paper flower rosettes out of a Halloween stack I had, cut some 3 d pumpkins to put in some of the centers and placed them around a styrofoam wreath that I wrapped in white ribbon.

So now your off to the next blog which is Martha, she always has some fabulous projects to enjoy. You don't want to miss what she has for this hop!!! Happy Halloween....

If you have come from Jennifer then you are in the right place. If you want to start from the beginning then please start with Denise she is the Host of this hop. You must leave a comment on each blog and become a member of each blog to be eligible for the candy.

I , as I'm sure a lot of us have been affected in some way with Breast Cancer. My project is made with LOVE for my Aunt Betty. She was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and had to have a double mastectomy last year. She has been thru a lot as you can imagine, but she is a STRONG women, and has fought this tooth and nail. I will never forget the day she was at my house and said to me, " I'm going to be the first person to gain weight on Cemo", as she was stuffing her face with a LARGE honeybun..... Her determination to fight this UGLY disease inspired me to NEVER let anything get you down no matter what life brings you. She is now doing REAL well and we celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary last week. It was a VERY special time for all of us, because we did not know if she would be with us much longer. I made this project with her in mind, and will be mailing it to her soon. It is a Christmas ornament that I made for her to hang on the tree. I used the clear glass balls that I got at Michaels. I used the Pledge method inside the ball and put pink glitter inside to coat it. I used my vinyl and the cricut to cut out polka dots, the word HOPE and the ribbon to it. Tied some tulle around the top for hanging. Voila there you have it. Hope you enjoy the hop.

your next stop is Tonya I know she is going to have a great project to show you.

So did you have fun yesterday going thru the Hop. I hope so there were some CUTE projects made. Well today is DAY 2 for the hop, and everyone has a NEW project to show you today. So lets make sure we do our homework, and get hopping to the blogs.
Yesterday I made an altered notebook made into a shape of an apple. Today I have made a 2 page 12 x 12 spread to put your Cutie Pies first day back to school pics on. I know you took pictures on the first day. I cut out trees and a school bus with my cricut and tore brown paper along the bottom edge to look like the bus was going down the path to pick up the kids.I put paperclips on some of the photo mats to give it a little school look.  I hope you like it.

Now skip on over to craftyhomemade and see what she has for you today.

Halloween is coming!!!!

I know its a little early for Halloween. But there has been so many cute SVG files that I have purchased lately, I had to do something with them. I had a little time to play and decided to make this two page spread. I actually won this file from Scrapping Bug Designs by helping come up with a title.
